This Privacy Policy explains how Stampa ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you join the waitlist, create a business account, or use our loyalty and customer retention platform.

This service is currently in early access. Features and data practices may evolve as we improve the product, but we will always handle your information with care and update this policy when significant changes occur.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the Stampa platform, operate your loyalty programs, and communicate with you about the service.

1. Waitlist and account information

  • Name and contact details (such as your email address).
  • Business information (such as business name and basic store details).
  • Authentication information (such as hashed passwords if you create an account).

2. Platform usage data

  • Activity in the dashboard (for example, when you create loyalty cards, rewards, or collaborative rewards).
  • Activity related to the Stampa wallet (for example, stamp requests, reward redemptions, and card progress events).
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and basic analytics about how you navigate the product.

3. Billing and payment information

When you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by our billing provider (currently Lemon Squeezy). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

  • We may receive limited billing details from the payment processor (such as your business name, billing email, and subscription status) so we can manage your account and invoices.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Stampa loyalty and wallet platform.
  • Set up and manage business accounts, stores, and venues.
  • Power features such as loyalty cards, rewards, collaborative rewards, and analytics dashboards.
  • Communicate with you about your account, billing, updates, and important changes to the service.
  • Improve the product by understanding how teams use Stampa and where we can make things simpler or more useful.

Legal Bases (where applicable)

Depending on your location, we may rely on different legal bases to process your information, including:

  • Performance of a contract (providing the service you sign up for).
  • Legitimate interests (for example, improving Stampa, preventing abuse, and securing our systems).

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers and when necessary to operate the platform or comply with the law.

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Database, logging, and monitoring services.
  • Email and notification providers.
  • Billing and payment processors (such as Lemon Squeezy).

These providers may process your data on our behalf and are obligated to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Service; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stampa, our users, or the public.

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • Account and billing records may be retained for legal, tax, or compliance reasons even after an account is closed.

Stampa is designed for businesses and is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Our infrastructure and service providers may be located in different countries. By using Stampa, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations, which may have data protection laws different from those in your country. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect such transfers.
